Work Party

*Work parties are usually on the first Saturday of each month (weather permitting)
*All ranges are closed during the work parties unless otherwise noted.
*Any work to be done on non-work party days should be approved by a committee chair or by the president before any member does the work.
*Members are required to not only sign in to the “sign-in” log book, but also make sure that their time is written in the “work log” in the club house.
*It is the member’s responsibility to make sure that the committee chair signs off on their work hours.
*New members are required to put in the Mandatory 10 hours of work time by August 31st. No exceptions. In the following years members need only put in 5 hours of work time or pay a $75 work penalty.

Note: before doing any work. Please contact Lou Braun or Jason Marshall.

Pistol Range
* Fix any broken frames and put new cardboard backers on target frames.
* Rake up spent brass in front of pistol range doors and clean up shells in shoot house floor.
* Repair stockade fence on top of dirt berm.
*Install rubber floor mats in pistol range shed.
Rifle Range
* attach brackets to back up rails for target frames.
* Fix any broken frames and put new cardboard backers on target frames.
* Put new wood blocking between roof joists above shooting tables.
*Finish new timber steps from upper r.r. parking lot down to r.r. storage shed.
*Install shelves at back wall of r.r. shooting shed.
*Install transom lights over barn doors in front of shooting benches.
*Weld and repair metal swinger targets.

Club House (see Jason before doing any work on addition)
* Periodically clean club house windows thoroughly inside and out.
* Periodically clean out ashes in wood stove.
* Install wall base molding in clubhouse.
* Periodically sweep, vacuum and mop floor in clubhouse.
* Get water pump working for warm weather.
*Water seal porches at clubhouse.
* Install hurricane clips on rafters and floor joist on addition.
* Install new wiring, lights and outlets in addition.
* Shingle roof on addition.
* Install windows and board & batten siding on addition.
* Install flood lights on existing club house.
* Keep kindling box full on porch with split “thin” fire starter wood.
* Shovel after snow storms the entrance to clubhouse, rifle, pistol & trap range.
Trap Range
* Repair broken shooting pads.
* pick up unbroken clays in trap field for re-use. (See Eric Long)
* Periodically sweep, vacuum floor and clean windows in warming shed.
* Periodically sweep, vacuum floor in trap machine house.
* Empty trash cans in warming shed as needed..
Pattern Board
* Paint, repair backer board for pattern board.
Conservation
* DO NOT MOW FIELDS AT ANY TIME!! Unless instructed by Conservation Chairman.
*Transplant cedar trees in front field near entrance gate to habitat areas on property
* Create brush piles from downed limbs on property.
* Pick up stones in trap field and put along perimeter of field.
*Bring cut up logs in 3D archery field on Flagg Hill Road to club house wood pile for cutting and splitting.

*Install deer browse fence enclose in “Wilson’s Field”.
Archery Course
* Rake and weed-wack walking trails before 3D archery shoots
* Clear course of downed trees and make brush piles.
* Remove stumps and large stones in 3D archery parking field off of Flagg Hill Road.
* Make target bag butts and put on 3D course.
General Maintenance
* Build addition to garage.
*Repair toilet seat in men’s outhouse.
* Periodically sweep, vacuum floor, restock paper goods and clean men’s and women’s toilet rooms.
